    =============================================

For comparison — here are all the tracks as recorded and in chronological sequence based on the photos of master tape boxes. This is what a complete box prepare would look similar if one is e'er published.

38.) The Terminate (survives as a fragment, as Peter Abram recorded the March 10 show over the March nine show. Only a few minutes of The End survives from March 9, but includes some wild poetic imagery.)

  3. Too bad information technology isn't complete on LP. The Grateful Expressionless is publishing a complete testify (4LPs) for Record Store Day: Fillmore W, San Francisco, CA 2/27/69 -- four LP box gear up for Tape Store Twenty-four hour period – April 21, 2018. Rhino/Grateful Dead Productions will press 6700 copies.
  4. Is information technology Rhinoceros putting out this Doors release? Someone must have an answer...
  5. is there a track list?

Is information technology advertising two complete shows?

  6. Its really merely a few people causing the same trouble over and over. I don't run into why 1 can't take a critical discussion of a product, every bit long as you lot choose your words carefully. The personal attacks are the real issue, but saying you lot don't agree with the content of a release shouldn't close the thread.
  7. Am I misunderstanding the 1st Gen note in the info for this RSD?
  8. I agree ... but I am guessing that our host has done work for The Doors and rather not have their management lampooned on his site? Possibly I'1000 incorrect . . . and trust me I'grand all for freedom to hash out.
  9. Hoffman and Botnick are patently friends.
  10. I think you are spot on...the relationship runs long and deep. Our host has done some peachy work for the band for which I am thankful.
  11. Let'south stay on topic hither which is a discussion of this new release. Theorize and potentially libelous remarks apropos the Doors management and moderator's moderation volition probably lead to thread closure. again. Thanks.
  12. OK, on topic. This record volition exist the 5th (FIVE!!) official release that includes an incomplete fragment of the Matrix recordings.

In Michigan, many of us have a long running joke that the Detroit Lions will never win a Super Bowl in our lifetime. Sadly, I'm starting to feel that is as well the case for an official release of the consummate Matrix recordings.

  13. Okay. Back on topic, as a long fourth dimension doors fan I am non happy with this new release. I feel nosotros should get a consummate release. Hope that isn't a thread closer since it's but my ain honest stance.
  14. It'southward a single LP sampler with material from two nights. Not complete shows. Come across here: PRINTABLE Product Listing-1.docx
  15. Although they once over again failed to live up to expectations after all those hit and miss Matrix releases thru the years, I hope its much improve sounding than last twelvemonth's superfluous mastering.
  16. Information technology's bad enough they botched the original release and were apparently misleading most the source of the tapes. Now they refuse to correct the trouble, stringing frustrated fans forth incessantly with these compromised scrapbook releases. I choose to back up bands who deliver quality archival releases without insulting the fans.

  17. Just wondering. If we are talking specifics about a product that's been officially released why would doors management enquire to accept it closed? Nosotros tin can conspicuously run into this isn't the full matrix shows and people stating that shouldn't cause a thread closure
    anastasios and asdf35 like this.
  18. This is non news but I'm looking forrard to it. That is all.
  19. I believe their release strategy for the Matrix recordings (including this current release, thus keeping on topic) is best represented by the post-obit GIF:

  20. Thanks for asking. Specifics are fine. There were some slanderous remarks that were posted (and removed) that ruined the discussion in that other thread.
  21. I suspect its more a matter of individuals complaining and striking the report button. Mods are only doing their chore.

I recommend ignoring people, I've been doing it my whole life with amazing results.

  22. Krzysztof Kieslowski's The Iii Colours trilogy,
The Doors Live at the Matrix releases attacking all colors
  23. "Fat rat in a peak hat. Thinks he's an aristocrat."
